Programa State Safety Oversight (SSO) — Información Pública
El Negociado para el Manejo de Emergencias y Administración de Desastres de Puerto Rico (NMEAD), en su rol como State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA), es responsable de la supervisión independiente de la seguridad operacional (safety) de los sistemas de tren en Puerto Rico bajo la jurisdicción de la Federal Transit Administration (FTA), conforme al State Safety Oversight Program Standard (SSOPS) y 49 CFR Parte 674. Esto incluye el sistema de Tren Urbano.
El NMEAD no es la entidad operadora ni el Rail Transit Agency (RTA).
Informe Anual
El Programa SSO publica un Informe Anual sometido a la FTA, que resume las actividades de supervisión, los Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) y los hallazgos relacionados con la seguridad operacional (safety).
Reportar una situación de seguridad operacional (safety)
El público, así como empleados y contratistas, pueden someter alegaciones de incumplimiento. Todas las alegaciones serán evaluadas e investigadas conforme al SSOPS y la reglamentación federal aplicable.

State Safety Oversight (SSO) Program — Public Information
The Puerto Rico Emergency Management Bureau (PREMB), in its role as the State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA), is responsible for the independent oversight of rail transit safety in Puerto Rico under the jurisdiction of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), in accordance with the State Safety Oversight Program Standard (SSOPS) and 49 CFR Part 674. This includes the Tren Urbano system.
PREMB is not the operating entity nor the Rail Transit Agency (RTA).
Annual Report
The SSO Program publishes an Annual Report submitted to the FTA, which summarizes oversight activities, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and findings related to rail transit safety.
Report a Safety Concern
Members of the public, as well as employees and contractors, may submit allegations of noncompliance. All allegations will be evaluated and investigated in accordance with the SSOPS and applicable federal regulations.
